Temporary Hypoxemia of a Patient with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome in Perioperative Period

Abstract
A 29-year-old female patient who had a prior history of generalized tonic-clonic seizures had been diagnosed with the Lennox-Gastuat syndrome. She was scheduled for extraction of decayed teeth under general anesthesia. Preoperatively, her tonic seizure was well controlled with antiepileptic drugs. General anesthesia with propofol and desflurane was provided and the intraoperative course and the emergence of anesthesia were take a great deal of time and mild low oxygen saturation was temporally checked in recovery room.
